Summer Employment Programs
Application period for the 2016 year has ended. 

Network Youth Leadership Program
This program attempts to provide 32 youths, ages 14 -17, with job readiness skills, training, and actual work experience. The program operates for six weeks during July and August. Stipend payments in the amount of $180 per week are based on participation of 20 hours a week program participation. 55% of program participants must meet income eligibility guidelines. Only one child per family household will be considered. Funded in part by local CDBG program through the Department of Development. 

Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) Summer Youth Employment Program
This program will employ income eligible youth between the ages of 14 years – 18 years. The number of youth hired is to be determined and is contingent upon yearly TANF funding. The program operates for six weeks during July and August. Rate of pay will be $9.00 per hour, five hours per day. All youth must meet TANF income guidelines.Funded by the Westchester/Putnam Local Workforce Investment Board.  

Potential Candidates Summer Internship Program
Where applicable, this program will employ eight (8), 18 yrs. - 21 yrs. with specific internships to an assigned Governmental Departments or local Community-Based Agencies/Programs. The program operates for six (6) weeks during July and August. Rate of pay is $9.00 per hour, (5) hours per day. No income eligibility required. Funded by the New York State Office of Children & Family Service and contingent upon current State funding.
