1. What time will my garbage be picked up?

Our crews start at 7:00 am (6:00 am during summer months) Monday through Friday. Since many things can affect the timing of how the routes run, all items must be placed curbside at those specified times.

2. Why was only some of my trash taken away?

There are a variety of reasons why trash is not picked up.
-It wasn't placed out on time (7:00 am, 6:00 am in summer months)
-It was not placed at the curb
-Refuse was not containerized properly
-Containers exceeded the weight limit of 75lbs.
-Something in your trash was not allowed (building materials, oil, car parts, etc.)
-Refuse was jammed in containers, not allowing it to fall free
-It was not your pickup day (North End- Monday & Thursday, South End-Tuesday & Friday)
-It wasn't collected during the regular day in a Holdiay Week
