Overview
This program offers supervised recreation skate time, not individual instruction. Recreation and rink staff offer guidance, supervision and encouragement to all participants.

Registration will be accepted by mail or in person at the Parks & Recreation Office - not school.

Children will be met at their school by the Recreation Staff who will supervise them on the bus, at the rink, and back to school where they are to be picked up promptly at 5:45pm on skating days. No child will be allowed to leave his or her school at 5:45 without a parent or guardian - even if the child usually walks home from school. Children will be required to board the bus at the rink for the return trip to school. For families who wish to pick up their child at the rink, permission, in writing, must be submitted prior to the start of the program. Children will not be allowed to wait at the Hommocks Rink for a ride home. Any child not picked up by the designated parent or guardian at the rink by 5:15 will be required to take the bus back to their school with the group.
