The STRIVE Dance Leadership Academy provides dance and positive youth development activities for girls, 11 years old to 16 years old in an effort to avoid youth violence, negative peer influences, and other risky behavior.

Specifically, STRIVE will develop protective factors while creating opportunities for our young women to learn and practice constructive skills for now and for their futures.

Funding
The academy is funded by a grant from the Westchester County Youth Bureau.

Components
STRIVE is comprised of three major services components:

• Esteem and Etiquette Building 
• Leadership Development
