Permit parking is a convenient option that saves you money. Customers may purchase most permits on a semiannual or annual basis at a considerable discount from the published meter rates.
In certain locations, permits are restricted to area residents only. In this case, proof of residency is required for purchase, which may be a copy of a house deed, lease, or current utility bill in the resident/parker's name. Permits can be obtained for parking garages and surface lots.

Applications are processed Monday through Friday from 8:30a.m. to 2:30p.m. only. The office is located on the Ground Floor in the Bureau of Buildings/Parking. Acceptable forms of payment are check, credit or debit. Cash or American Express are no longer accepted.
Renew your parking permit online
Individual permit holders now have the added option of renewing their parking permit online. Online renewals will commence the 1st of the month in which your permit expires and end 3 days before the end on that month. Your permit will be generated by the Department of Development and mailed to you the next business day.

Certain parking facilities may be sold out and have established waiting lists. Waiting list requests are accepted either by mail or by email. Send requests by mail to:
