Edward Ritter
 

Edward Ritter was appointed Finance Commissioner on January 1, 2022. He joined the City in 2019 as Deputy Finance Commissioner/Treasurer, managing the Tax Office and Purchasing Department and overseeing the Payroll Department. He supervised the finances of over forty capital projects and provided analysis for both the capital and operating budgets.

 

Mr. Ritter began his career in accounting and then served over the next two decades in a number Westchester municipalities including Briarcliff Manor, Town of Bedford and Village of Irvington as well as the North Salem CSD.

 

Mr. Ritter received his BS in Accounting from St. Thomas Aquinas and is enrolled in the MBA/Public Administration program at Southern New Hampshire University.
