Our Mission
The mission of NourishALL is to enhance food security for vulnerable residents of New Rochelle, while also sustaining local businesses, through the provision of gift cards to local restaurants during the COVID-19 public health crisis.
The benefits of NourishALL
NourishALL (sounds like "New Rochelle"), is a public-private partnership that directly supports food insecurity with the additional benefit of helping to sustain local businesses and the employment opportunities they provide. The City of New Rochelle directly collaborates with community agencies, Office of Aging, Youth Bureau, and the local restaurant industry to implement this initiative.
A pilot program assisting 300 New Rochelle residents and 6 restaurants was launched in early April. Due to the generous support from the development community as well as the general New Rochelle community, the program is continuing to provide gift cards to New Rochelleans at risk for food insecurity through the summer.
How is NourishALL funded? Can I donate?
The program has received generous initial funding from local development corporations. You can help to help continue the program benefits to restaurants and our most vulnerable through the COVID-19 crisis, by donating here.
