New York State has issued protections regarding evictions and mortgage payments in light of the current pandemic.

There is a moratorium on evictions for nonpayment of rent until August 20 and eliminating any fees for the late payment of rent from March 20 through August 20.  

There is a moratorium on foreclosures for nonpayment of mortgages through August 20. 

New Rochelle Rental Assistance Program: 
Rebound New Rochelle  -If you are a New Rochelle resident in a rental property and your income has been substantially reduced, due to the COVID-19 Pandemic and/or the corresponding government-imposed shutdown, you may be eligible for temporary rental assistance from the City of New Rochelle’s Tenant Based Rental Assistance (TBRA) Program for COVID-19.
