Programs

Youth Court - New Rochelle residents who are presently in the 8th—10th grade, are eligible to apply. Acceptance is not automatic but will be based on completion of an application form, school grades, school attendance, a brief essay, and a personal interview. Applicants must be willing to donate at least an evening per week (usually Mondays) during the school year as well as volunteering their time for special events and community activities. The final selection will be made by the Youth Court Executive Committee. YOUTH COURT IS FUNDED IN PART BY WESTCHESTER COUNTY YOUTH BUREAU INVEST IN KIDS FUND.

The final selection will be made by the Youth Council Committee.

Camp NOW - This four-hour summer camp program meets Monday - Thursday (3 trips on 3 Fridays - Additional fee for trips) features a variety of sports, passive and active games, the arts, STEAM, and special pre-teen themed activities. A program enrichment fee is necessary to maintain any/all existing activities. Registration is required with a copy of most recent report card and copy immunization record. Be on the lookout for applications in the spring.

Youth Employment – Youth applicants ages 14yrs – 24yrs, will be provided with job readiness skills training (PERT) and actual work experience. The program operates for six weeks.
