Overview
The Department of Public Works routinely responds to investigate complaints of constant water pumped out to city streets causing ice conditions. The department routinely and immediately addresses these conditions.
In accordance with Section
281-1c of the City code, in instances where the DPW has to respond to icing or nuisance conditions associated with properties that discharge water onto City streets, the property owner will be assessed a fee of $25.00 per occurrence to correct a hazardous condition.
