If you believe a career in public service can bring out the best in you, then join the New Rochelle Police Department! Applications are now being accepted for the Police Officer exam to be held on Saturday December 2. Applications will be accepted until Thursday, October 5 at 4PM.

Candidates must be legal residents of Westchester, Putnam, Rockland or Bronx Counties at the time of application. Applications are available at the Civil Service Office, New Rochelle City Hall, 515 North Avenue during the hours of 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM and can be downloaded online at www.newrochelleny.com/NRPD. 

Applications are also available at the following locations:

·         New Rochelle Police Department, Front Desk, 475 North Avenue

·         Martin Luther King Center- 95 Lincoln Avenue

·         Municipal Housing Authority- 50 Sickles Avenue

·         New Rochelle Public Library- 1 Library Plaza

Completed applications must be brought in person by the applicant to the Civil Service Office along with proper photo ID and documentation to prove residency (i.e. Con Ed, telephone or cable bill, or recent mail showing your address). No applications will be accepted through the mail.
