New Rochelle Announces Featured Business Winners

Today New Rochelle announced the first recipients of the new “Featured Business” designation, recognizing thirty-six unique establishments that demonstrate a commitment to excellence and customer attraction.

With diverse offerings ranging from international cuisines, interior design services, flower arrangements, a place to rock climb and much more, visitors and residents can find a Featured Business to meet their needs. Featured Businesses can be identified by a window decal corresponding to an online map on the City’s website at and will also be highlighted on the interactive Wi-Fi kiosks launching in 2018. The decals are color-coded to four categories: Retail; Food / Dining; Arts / Entertainment; and Services. Events like gallery openings, fitness expos and special dining experiences at these Featured Businesses will be highlighted at

As part of the City’s ambitious redevelopment plan, all New Rochelle businesses are invited to apply - at no cost - to the new Featured Business Program, coordinated by the City’s Department of Development. Featured businesses will receive increased visibility online and will have free access to tools to expand their marketing reach to residents and visitors. “New Rochelle’s sophisticated and diverse population, proximity to mass transit, plus exciting new development in the downtown complimenting the burgeoning art culture make it ideal for business,” says one business owner.
