The National Weather Service has issued a High Wind Warning for our area in effect until 6:00am tomorrow. Sustained winds are predicted at 25-35 mph and gusts up to 60 mph. The period of strongest winds will be this afternoon and evening. Coastal areas may also be affected by higher tides.

During periods of high winds, please use caution when walking or driving -- and secure all outdoor objects to avoid flying debris.

Always stay clear of downed power lines. If you lose power, contact Con Edison at 1-800-75-CONED or online at www.coned.com. Please do NOT use generators indoors.
