In late July, an emergency repair forced the closing of Lincoln Pool. After the fabrication and installation of a new pool motor, and just in time for this weekend’s steamy forecast, the pool is now open! “Thankfully, we were able to make the repairs quickly in order to capture the remaining weeks of summer,” noted Parks and Recreation Commissioner Bill Zimmermann. “And, as a thank you to the New Rochelle community for their patience during the unexpected pool closure, we have extended the swimming pool season for the two weekends following Labor Day (September 8,9 and September 15,16) with free admission those days.”
Please note the following schedule:
-All Saturday/Sunday morning swim instructional classes will now begin make-up sessions this weekend (August 4th and 5th)
-From now through Labor Day, enjoy Lincoln Pool with the Lincoln Pool Parks Pass, available at the Parks & Recreation Office at City Hall for the one-time seasonal fee of $10 for adults (ages 18+) and $5 for children (ages 5-17). The pool is open daily, weather permitting, from noon to 6PM.
-After Labor Day, Lincoln Pool will be open two weekends (September 8,9 and September 15,16), with free admission on those weekends during pool hours of noon - 6PM.
Lincoln Pool will also be a primary amenity offered during the Wednesday August 29th Summer Family Fest event at Lincoln Park.
