Having a variety of successful businesses is key to a thriving city. As part of its revitalization efforts, New Rochelle and the Industrial Development Agency are offering an opportunity for free consulting services to help New Rochelle businesses grow and succeed.

New Rochelle businesses are invited to apply to be a part of a program we are piloting with The Acceleration Project (TAP), a mission-driven consulting firm committed to supporting the vitality of local economies by keeping small business thriving. TAP consultants are professional women with expertise addressing challenges faced by business owners, including those around marketing, financial management, operations, time management and others. TAP consultants will provide 4-5 months of strategic advisory services to businesses selected to participate in the initial phase of this project.

The consultants will work with business owners to identify and prioritize their goals, and they will use customized TAP tools to address immediate business needs and will also create a structured, results-oriented, tactical and tie-bound Action Plan to guide the business for up to three years post-project.

We will include five businesses in this initial phase, selected from all applicants based on criteria including growth potential, opportunities for job creation, and diverse industry representation.
