NewRoCheers go out to Sara Spira for delivering 26 dozen home-baked cookies and brownies to hospital workers at Montefiore New Rochelle. Sara’s baking is part of her Bat Mitzvah project, where she is raising funds for WJCS, a local social service agency providing care kits to low income families in Westchester. To raise funds, Sara is asking people to order cookies that would be delivered to front line workers. Sara bakes and packs all cookies and brownies with mask and gloves in a sterilized kitchen. The delicious treats were well-received by the hardworking health care providers…and there are more to come!
