As we approach the Fourth of July weekend, please remember that fireworks are not allowed under any circumstances in residential neighbors. If you observe or hear illegal fireworks, please call the New Rochelle Police Desk at 914-654-2300.
Because of COVID-19, the City’s official fireworks display is cancelled this year, but we look forward to celebrating next year, when this crisis is behind us and large gatherings are once again permitted.
Alternate side of the street parking regulations will resume on Monday, July 6th. Please plan ahead, so that you don’t receive a ticket.
Also on July 6th, City Hall will open to the public, but with masks and physical distancing required. Even so, we recommend that, when possible, residents continue to obtain information and utilize services remotely.
Parents can still register for “Outside the Box” summer children’s programming at 10 City parks. Visit newrochelleny.com/outsidethebox to learn more about this great option for kids.
Finally, please continue to wear a mask in public, practice physical distancing, and wash your hands frequently. With COVID spiking in many parts of the country, let’s keep our guard up. Act responsibly, so that our city and region stay on the right track.
As always, for additional resources or to learn how you can help, donate, or volunteer, visit newrochelleny.com/newrostrong. And for general information, visit newrochelleny.com/coronavirus.
Thank you for listening, and have a good Fourth of July weekend.
