[ARCHIVED] City Update- July 7

This robocall was sent Citywide today.

New Rochelle begins Phase IV reopening today, with low-risk arts & entertainment, as well as higher education, permitted to operate. Details at forward.ny.gov.

Our progress is a credit to the hard work of all of us here in the former epicenter of the virus. Even so, spiking rates of infection in other parts of the country remind us that the crisis is not over. Responsible behavior remains vital. Please continue to wear a mask in public, stay physically distant from others, and wash hands frequently.

Lincoln Pool opens this weekend, but with important new safety measures in place to reduce occupancy. To use the pool, advance reservations are required. Please visit newrochelleny.com/parks to learn more.

Remember, it’s not too late to respond to the census -- online, by phone or by mail. It is quick, easy, safe, and confidential. Your response will ensure that New Rochelle receives the funds we need for schools, roads and other services.

Finally, two reminders. Alternate side of the street parking regulations are now in effect. And City Hall is once again open to the public, although we recommend that you access information and services online or by phone whenever possible.

As always, for additional resources or to learn how you can help, donate, or volunteer, visit newrochelleny.com/newrostrong. And for general information, visit newrochelleny.com/coronavirus.

Thank you for reading. Together, let’s keep New Rochelle moving in the right direction.
