On October 30th at about 7:15 p.m., New Rochelle Police Department received a call from New Rochelle Montefiore Hospital Emergency Room, stating that an adult/male was just brought in with multiple stab wounds.
Upon arriving at the Emergency Room, Officers identified the Victim, a 49 year old New Rochelle resident. He had sustained a laceration to his right upper arm (tricep area), laceration to his right scapula, shoulder area, and a laceration to his right arm pit/upper arm, which is believed to have cut deep into his muscle or artery.
Through preliminary information gathered, it is believed that the victim had been present in the vicinity of 380 Main Street with several friends when 2 unknown suspects (described to be thin Male/Black's in their 20's wearing masks) approached the victim and one of the suspects began to stab the victim. The victim’s friend pushed the suspect off the victim, and the victim and suspect were separated. The suspects entered a dark vehicle and fled eastbound on Main St towards Echo Avenue. The victim then walked westbound on Main Street towards Harrison Street, where the victim encountered a friend who then drove the victim to the Hospital.
