[ARCHIVED] CDC Eviction Moratorium has been extended through July 31, 2021

Please be aware that the moratorium only applies if your loss of income and need to remain in your housing is directly related to COVID-19. The eviction moratorium under the New York State COVID-19 Emergency Eviction and Foreclosure Prevention Act of 2020 is currently set to expire on August 31, 2021. It is important to remember that these moratoria do not cancel or reduce the rent that is owed to your landlord.

Please do not wait to seek assistance!

Has your ability to pay your rent or utilities been affected by the COVID19 pandemic? Are you facing eviction? Are you aware of your rights and responsibilities as a renter? If you have questions about this moratorium, rental or utility arrears, or avoiding eviction, please contact Westchester Residential Opportunities Inc., a City of New Rochelle partner 914-428-4507 ext. 318 housinghelp@wroinc.org
