[ARCHIVED] Union Avenue Parking Lot Now Features Weekday Meter Parking

In order to increase parking opportunities, changes have been made to the operation of the Union Avenue Parking Lot. The City has installed 18 parking meters in the spaces located in the center of the lot.

Parkers will now have two new options. From Monday to Friday, 8am to 6pm, there will be daytime parking in effect. During this time there will be a maximum parking limit of 3 hours at a cost of $0.50 per hour.

From Monday evening thru Thursday evening, a special night time rate will be instituted that will allow residents to park from 6pm to 8am for a flat fee of $2.

Weekends will remain restricted to special permits from Friday evening to Monday morning.

For further information contact Parking Manager George Rainone at (914) 654-2189.
