New Rochelle’s 57th annual Thanksgiving Parade will kick off at 10:00am on North Avenue at Eastchester Road, and proceed entirely along North Avenue, crossing Main Street, and ending at Bonnefoy Place. Come cheer on Mighty Mouse and friends and applaud this year’s honorees: the essential workers who served our community throughout the pandemic.
Temporary street closures and detours will be in effect along the parade route starting at 6:00am (SEE STREETS BELOW). Please observe the no parking signs, and be aware that cars parked on the route will be towed.
The parade is organized by the City and the New Rochelle Chamber of Commerce. For more information, visit newrochelleny.com.
And remember, Thanksgiving week will follow a holiday collection schedule, with garbage and trash picked up in the North End on Monday and South End on Tuesday, and commingled recycling citywide on Wednesday. There will be no pickup on Thursday or Friday.
Eastchester Road advisory:
Eastchester Road from Mt Joy Pl to North Ave will be closed at 6am for balloon inflating except to local residents. North Avenue will close at 8AM between Beechmont Road and Braemar Avenue for parade lineup. Please observe area detours.
South of North Avenue advisory:

The cross streets of Clinton Place and Bonnefoy will be closed at Church Street except for local traffic. This parade pickup area will be between Union Street and Pelham Road.
