Visit Ward Acres and enjoy the gorgeous garden plots planted by our residents. Established in 2009, Ward Acres Community Garden features 88 separate 10'x10' plots. The goal of the Garden is to build community, grow vegetables according to organic gardening principles, share tips with fellow gardeners, and help to feed the hungry. Six of the plots contain vegetables which are planted and then harvested and donated to H.O.P.E. Community Services Soup Kitchen. Another six plots are used by the Ward Elementary School grades K-5 for educational purposes. The entrance is near the intersection of Quaker Ridge and Broadfield Roads. We encourage all to come and take a look at these beautiful gardens!
