Volunteer New York! and the City of New Rochelle Parks and Recreation department will team up on Saturday, April 23 and Sunday, April 24 to once again provide community members with a weekend of volunteer engagement and civic pride.
Parks Clean-up Weekend is open to all New Rochelle community members. Volunteers will be tasked with a range of outdoor spring-cleaning duties, including trail maintenance, trash removal, playground and beach cleanup, and more. With 12 different projects planned for this weekend of service, residents can choose to support the neighborhood park that they enjoy the most throughout the year or is closest to their home.
