LWV In Person Candidates Forum for State Senate District 34

League of Women Voters of New Rochelle Presents In Person Candidates Forum for State Senate District 34: Fernandez, Zherka, Monday October 17, 2022, 6 to 8 pm 

A Candidates Forum for NY State Senate District 34 sponsored by the League of Women Voters of New Rochelle will feature Assemblywoman Nathalia Fernandez (D, WP) and Samantha Zherka  (R,C) at New Rochelle City Hall, 515 North Avenue (back entrance) on October 17th, 2022.  The event will be moderated by a League member from outside the district.

Doors open at 6 pm to meet the candidates and submit written questions and the event will start at 7pm. The public can also submit questions for the candidates ahead of the event at lwvnewrochelle@gmail.com.

Senate District 34 is newly drawn, with 1/4 in Westchester after redistricting and includes Pelham, Pelham Manor, part of New Rochelle and part of the Bronx. Voters are advised to go to www.Vote411.org and fill in their address to determine which district they live in. This website also includes other detailed information about the candidates provided by the candidates.
