New Rochelle’s new “Commute-a ti” initiative at the New Rochelle Train Station is thrilled to announce a call for artists for their upcoming exhibit “Community in New Rochelle”. This exhibition aims to show what New Rochelle’s community means to our local artists. The deadline for submission is August 11, 2023.
Theme: Community in New Rochelle
GUIDELINES FOR SUBMISSION
Medium: All visual art forms are welcome.
Concept: Artists should submit artwork that reflects the theme of community in New Rochelle.
Size and Format: Submissions need to be in jpeg or png format in high resolution format.
Submission Limit: Each artist may submit only one submission

Deadline: The submission deadline is August 11, 2023

SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION
Selection Process: Submissions will be reviewed by a panel of curators. The selection will be based on relevance to the theme, and overall cohesion of the exhibition. All are encouraged to apply.
Notification: Applicants will be notified via email if they have or have not been selected

Selected artwork will be printed on foam boards from submitted pictures and several pieces of artwork will be on one board. Boards will be hung up inside the New Rochelle Train Station.
