The New Rochelle Police Department is proud to announce a new Cadet Program, and youth residents ages 14-17 are invited to apply. 

The Cadet Program offers participants a comprehensive introduction to law enforcement and their local Police Department. The program will meet on Thursday nights at Police Headquarters, 475 North Avenue from 5:00pm-7:30pm, ending on Thursday, May 2.  Classes will focus on responsibility, teamwork and leadership skills while exploring various police topics.  The program replicates and condenses the Police Recruit Academy and will include hands on training, physical training, and scenario-based training.  Cadets will have the opportunity to participate in Police events as well as get a chance to meet and engage with Police Officers from their community.
