The 2023 Veterans Day Ceremony was held at American Legion Post 8 on Saturday, November 11.

The ceremony featured remarks by Steve Alpert, author of "Women in Uniform", who presented a work of art to the Post. Tom Riley of the Tunnel to Towers Foundation spoke about the importance of the organiztion, and received a check from the Post. A presentation was made in honor of the late Leroy Fadum, the late Post member who passed this year at the age of 102.

Speakers included Commander Dennis Starr, Mayor Noam Bramson, New Rochelle Fire Commissioner and veteran Andy Sandor, Westchester County Veterans Service Director Ronald Tocci, and Post 8 Adjutant Richard Gulley. Bishop Leak gave the Invocation and Benediction, and was presented with a special recognition.
