New Year's Kick-off Party

NYE 2024 Kick-off Party

Celebrate the arrival of 2024 at the City of New Rochelle’s “New Year’s Kick-Off Party” at Anderson Plaza on December 31st , featuring live music, food and drinks, and a live video-screening of the annual ball drop in Times Square.

The community-wide party will get started at 8 pm with a welcome reception featuring food and drinks for sale from local and surrounding restaurants, that grows into the main event at 9 pm with live music by Ayanna & All Star Band performing sets from Rolling Stones, Bowie, Mariah, Whitney, and Motown to Bruno Mars and Latin standards; and DJGabby spinning popular hits leading up to and beyond midnight.

Entrance is free. With the purchase of a $10 raffle ticket, attendees will get festive swag, a complimentary toast for adults at midnight, and be entered into a chance to win a number of prizes, including local restaurant vouchers and the grand prize of a 10-day vacation for two to Dubrovnik, Croatia.

“The New Year’s Eve Kickoff Party at our newly- redesigned Anderson Plaza is the perfect setting to welcome in 2024 with family and friends,” said Kathleen Gill, New Rochelle City Manager. “This special evening closes out a dynamic year of memorable programming that showcased the diversity of our community and supported our local economy, and helped us build a more inclusive and sustainable future together.”

The New Year’s Kick-Off Party culminates an active year in New Rochelle’s downtown with the City launching the “Downtown Summer Sizzle” concert series at Ruby Dee Park, the Taste of Union Ave highlighting local restaurants, Pride Day, Hispanic Heritage celebrations, and the “Queen City of the Sound International Jazz Festival”.
