Over 400 kites soared the skyline during New Rochelle’s Fourth Annual Kite Day, which took place on Saturday, May 21st at Davenport Park. The event was sponsored by the New Rochelle Department of Parks & Recreation in conjunction with the City School District of New Rochelle “Triple E” Program and community partner News 12.
Participants enjoyed a day full of activities for all ages, such as Zumba, Soccer and various games. Children flew their own kites or had the opportunity to build one. The event also featured a kiddie area for toddlers and a health and wellness expo for adults. Music was provided by DJ Third Stone, food and refreshments were served by Beechmont Café.
