[ARCHIVED] Announcing the 2016 New Rochelle Farmers Market

It’s the paradox of our time: we’re more digitally connected than ever before, yet more harried. More fragmented. But it doesn’t have to be this way. Every week at Down to Earth Farmers Markets, the region’s best farmers and food makers sell delicious foods that they have produced. Communities come together to buy directly from them. In this exchange, we connect with one another in a real way. Real food connects us all. This season, restore your connection with nature, health, and community at Down to Earth Markets.

Down to Earth Markets is excited to announce the opening of the NEW ROCHELLE FARMERS MARKET on Friday, June 3rd at Huguenot Park on North Avenue in front of the New Rochelle High School. The market will be held every week from
8:30am - 2:30pm.

Come, meet and shop from a variety of farmers and small batch food makers including:

Alex's Tomato Farm -- fruits & vegetables from Schoharie County, NY
Arlotta Food Studios -- infused olive oils & hand made pasta with local ingredients
Asian Farmer -- dumplings, both meat & vegetarian
Butchie's Organic Farm -- certified organic produce & eggs, meat & poultry from the Catskills
Dagele Brothers Produce -- vegetables from Orange County, NY
Dr. Pickle - old fashioned barrel style pickles
Fable: from farm to table -- fruits & vegetables from Westchester County
Meredith's Country Bakery -- breads, pies, muffins of great variety
Orwasher's Bakery -- traditional and contemporary artisanal bread made in NYC
The Cheese Guy -- cave ripened artisanal cheese
