1. Where is the best place to park if I am traveling via Amtrak, from the New Rochelle Train Station, for multiple days?

The City of New Rochelle recommends that those taking Amtrak from the New Rochelle Train Station park on the 5^th Floor of the New Rochelle Transit Center. Parking is allowed for up to 120 straight hours (5 days).  Payment is required 24 hours a day, 7 days a week including Sundays and Holidays.

2. Do the muni machines issue change or refunds?

Muni machines on and off street do not issue change or refunds.  Parkers must pay with exact cash amount.

3. What do I do if a muni machine is broken?

If you are parked on street, muni machines are interchangeable so if one is broken, another one is conveniently located within close proximity.

If you are parked in a parking facility, there are multiple muni machines located within each facility for your convenience should one be out of order.

Paying for parking via the ParkMobile App is also an option if a muni machine is out of order.

4. I have a parking permit but need to change my license plate number?

5. How do I pay a parking violation for expired meter?

If you receive a citation for an expired meter, you may pay it at a muni machine, in person at the City Court or online (https://www.parkingticketpayment.com/newrochelle/).
