Hudson Park Master Plan

Overview

Hudson Park, located on the Long Island Sound, is the City of New Rochelle's premier waterfront park, offering a variety of active and passive recreation activities all year round. In November 2019, the Parks and Recreation Department embarked on the process of creating a comprehensive master plan in conjunction with Stantec design consultants. Concurrently, Stantec worked with the Wildcliff Advisory Committee on an Adaptive Reuse Plan for the historic mansion that was devastated by fire in late November 2018.

As a result of extensive site research, public outreach and analysis, draft proposals for both the Hudson Park Master Plan and the Wildcilff Adaptive Reuse Plan were presented to City Council on Tuesday, October 13, 2020.

The plans is under review by City Council and will be proposed for adoption at the November 10th Committee of the Whole meeting.
